50
uses for your Dreamers Candle Jar!
Most people do not realize that, unlike
paraffin, soy-based candles' jars
are easily cleaned out for recycling. Soy wax candles burn
cleanly, leaving less wax residue than candles made purely
of paraffin wax. Your soy candles can be burned until only
about 1/4 of an inch of the candle remains. The remaining soy
wax is easily and completely cleaned out so that the container
can be reused. Simply set the Dreamers Candle jar in a small
saucepan, half full of water and warm the water over low heat.
Once the wax has liquefied in the bottom of the candle jar,
use an oven mitt to lift the jar out of the water,
and pour the soy candle wax out into a container you intend
to throw away. Wipe the remaining wax out with a paper towel
and wash the jar with regular dish soap and warm water. Dry
the jar and find a new use for it. It’s that simple. However,
because glass weakens as it accumulates bumps and scratches
from use, we do not recommend refilling our jars for re-use
as a candle. However, they make terrific holders for all kinds
of things around your home. Below are 50 favorite uses for
our decorative Dreamers Candle jars:
